Introduction to the basic concepts, materials, and processes of sculpture by exploring modeling, casting, carving, and constructing.

Further exploration of concepts and processes of sculpture, including mold making and armature building. Beginning development of personal language of expression.

Intro to Designed Objects - Architecture/Interior Arch/Designed Objects 1001 (2003-2004) -
This studio course introduces students to the design of objects and products. Going beyond traditional concerns of function and use, students investigate the ideas, values, culture and beliefs embedded in the systems and objects we create and put to use.

Design Camp 04 -
Dressing - Using collage, mixed media and found objects, teens researched and design clothing that expressed their own individuality, drawing on costume and textile history, then created a wearable garment of their own devising.
