March 2nd, 2011 Comments Off on The Sketchbook Project

Students from the Department of Art have contributed their work to The Sketchbook Project: 2011, which recently featured on CNN. Causey Cato, Jason Chapman, Kate O’Hear, Jillian Matthews, Gary Shettles and Kris Wilson were among the 2800 artists who each filled an entire Moleskine notebook with their original art.

All books will now be included in an exhibition that tours the following cities: Brooklyn, Austin, San Francisco, Portland (ME), Atlanta, Chicago, Washington DC, and Winter Park (FL). The books will eventually enter the The Brooklyn Art Library system, where they will be available for the public to see.
