Assistant Professor Gregory Martin’s painting “Out on Highway 182” is currently on display at the Masur Museum of Art in Monroe, La., as part of their 51st Annual Juried Competition.

Work was selected by Kelly Schindler, associate curator at the Contemporary Art Museum St. Louis (CAM).

“Vida Quo Nex” | Gregory Martin

Assistant Professor Gregory Martin’s painting “Vida Quo Nex” was recently featured in the 29th annual POSITIVE NEGATIVE National Juried Exhibition at the Slocumb Galleries at East Tennessee State University in Johnson City, Tenn.

Work for the exhibition was selected by juror Buzz Spector, dean of College and Graduate School of Art, Washington University, Saint Louis, Mo.

The 42nd Annual MSU Student Juried Exhibition was held on March 27 in the Department of Art Gallery in McComas Hall from 5 – 7 p.m.

Judges were Joel Anderson, owner and creative director at Anderson Design Group, and Wesley Grissom, assistant director of J. Johnson Gallery in Jacksonville Beach, Fla.

ONE NIGHT ONLY(6)

The “One Night Only” series of exhibitions will continue this Fri., April 4, from 5 – 7 p.m. with the sixth student gallery showing in The Metal Shop in 111 Howell Hall.

This week’s featured artists are Anna Callaway (graphic design), Maura Worch (graphic design) and Jacob Craig (ceramics).

Along with the gallery, there will also be a special Italian-themed art sale to support Callaway and Worch’s study abroad trip to Italy this summer.

Come out to see their work, hang out in the freshly clean workspace, and enjoy free snacks and friends. This will be the last “One Night Only” exhibit for the semester.
