Peter Bain, assistant professor of graphic design in the Department of Art, has had his limited edition book, Writing Knowledge, accepted into the collections of Princeton University Library and the John M. Flaxman Library at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.

Writing Knowledge is dedicated to the written word and its preservation in physical form. It is a showcase of handwriting and calligraphy, containing quotations in three languages.

Bain said quotes in the book discuss art, freedom of the press and education. Funding for the book was provided through the MSU Artist Incentive Program.
