Katie Killian has had prints accepted into two shows–one a national exhibition, the other a major regional exhibition. Katie earned her BFA from Mississippi State in Fall 2011. The works–Autotomy of Motion, Un and Tirer, Deux–were made that semester for Professor Linda Seckinger’s advanced printmaking class.

Juror Hugh Wilson selected both works for the show Gateway to Imagination: A National Juried Art Competition, which is taking place at Farmington Museum, Farmington, New Mexico (May 13 to July 9). In addition, Tirer, Deux will also be on display at the Artists of the 21st Century Competitive Exhibition ’12 at the West Tennessee Regional Art Center in Humboldt, Tennessee (April 2 to 24). This show was juried by Shane Gregory.
