MSU Students Succeed at PIEA Competition

Two MSU students have won prizes in the PIEA International Photography Competition. Steven Joshlin won third prize in the “digitally constructed single image” category for his work Air; and Blake McCollum won an honorable mention in the “single image” category for his work Woman’s Back. They competed in a field of 5,700 students from  India, England, New Zealand, South Africa, Guatemala, Australia and Canada.

Steven and Blake were among 88 individuals selected to have their work included in two traveling shows – one through the US and one through Australia. Their work will be on exhibition at the PIEA International conference in Las Vegas this fall (Sept 8-11).
