Sway’d

Location: Salt Lake City, Utah

Contribution: Competition Organizer with Young Architects Forum – Utah

The goal of this temporary installation is to create a unique spatial experience within the urban context of Salt Lake City. Constructed as an international design/build competition this temporary outdoor “Adagio” or leisure space also heightened design awareness in the city.  The winning entry by Daniel Lyman entitled Sway’d was inspired by the metaphor of a living, breathing, moving wheat field and is meant to be interactive.  My role on this project was that of competition chair and graphic designer for the competition packet.  The competition was administered through the Young Architects Forum of Utah.
