GLITCH! National Student Juried Design Competition

Born through the power of a mishap, an unavoidable accident, a glitch will somehow almost always produce our best work. When you are forced to take a step back and reevaluate, you gain a new perspective. GLITCH celebrates that.

The 2025 GLITCH National Student Juried Design Competition will take place from February 14^th to February 21^st, 2025 at the Visual Arts Center Gallery located at 808 University Drive, Starkville, MS.

This year, there were 235 submissions from across the nation, submitted in the following categories:

Branding/Packaging

Book/Publication Design

Advertising

Illustration

Typography

Interactive

Photography

Of the submissions, 63 projects were accepted by a jury panel of 4 professional designers:

The award ceremony will take place at the exhibition reception on Friday, February 14^th at 5:00pm at the VAC Gallery, 808 University Drive.
