I chose CAADatMSU because the school was ranked top 25 in architecture schools, and I loved the studio environment of Giles.
My favorite spot on campus is Chapel of Memories as it is the most peaceful place to listen to the water while sitting and enjoying lunch or sketching.
My first visit to MSU, I truly felt at home. I was immediately inspired by the College of Art and Design and knew that this would be my place to grow and learn. I knew that this would be where I could do what I love while also being my perfect step into becoming a professional.
My favorite spot on campus is the water pools at the Chapel of Memories. It is exceptionally peaceful for whenever I need a place to pray, study, or think.
I chose CAADatMSU because I felt like it was the program that fit me the best. After touring a few architecture schools around the southeast, I began to realize that I felt the most “at home” at CAAD and at Mississippi State. It’s a really hard feeling to describe, but something just felt right, and I could see myself being successful here.
My favorite spot on campus is the Left Field Lounge in Dudy Noble.
Dubbed “The Gulf Coast Studio: The New Blue Economy Coastline,” the pilot studio is being made possible by a $189,000 grant from the National Academy of Science, Engineering and Medicine, Gulf Research Program.
First-year architecture students participated this past spring semester in an ongoing partnership project with the Emmett Till Memorial Commission.
