A fourth-year architecture student at Mississippi State is the latest recipient of the Method Studio Undergraduate Research Fellowship.
Abby C. Williams of Jonesboro, Arkansas, will receive $3,000 to conduct research for Method Studio, a Utah-based architectural design firm.
"Receiving this fellowship is incredibly exciting for me," said Williams. "This will provide me with an amazing opportunity to develop my research and communication skills."
Her research will focus on implementing Life-Cycle Analysis in the design process. Jacob Gines, an associate professor of architecture who also is associate principal at Method Studio, will supervise her work.
"I hope to go to graduate school," said Williams, "and this experience is an amazing learning opportunity to get there."
