Artist Statement

"This is what happens when you decide to buy the Jeep, you must take it places and often you must take a few friends to tag along with you. The tryptic is an excerpt from a series of digital drawings (procreate) and Fuji film Instax prints (numbering a few thousand), they are a journal reflecting various adventures with minimal context. At the heart of the series is a celebration of forgotten places, there is a sense of kitsch inspired by travel YouTube bloggers. Anyway! Quit reading this and go grab a bowl of ramen, and trespass an abandoned asylum, you can make this happen a few hours from here………GO! (Don’t trespass in abandoned asylums…or at least don’t get caught)."
