This room is a conduit of all my interests in the past years. Anything that affected me emotionally was put into the chaotic design of the space. During this time I was able to attract and access different parts of myself to help me gain answers to questions I've always left unexplained.
These subliminal aspects of everything that happens to us may seem to play very little part in our daily lives. But they are almost invisible roots of our conscious thoughts. - Carl Jung

Mystic
This piece was created from the center out, appearing as an organic circle. Layering painted cellophane ranging in hues of pink, purple, and blue, to create a rugged mountain texture on top of a mound of dog hair collected from the artist’s dog Layla. All covered by resin to seal off the center. Sanded down delicately with a dremel. Mixing shattered glass and iridescent beads in epoxy to make a thick paste used to fill the holes in the center section creating a crystal affect. Lilac pigmented resin and sheets of cellophane were layered around the center section creating a ring. After everything cured the dremel cleaned up the edges for a last and final pour. This allows the piece to have a reflective and glass like surface. All on plexiglass, therefore you can see every detail.

Bailiff
The shape of these pieces are very sharp and constricting, causing tension. Colorful stones were attached to the bottom of the plexiglass pieces, allowing the colors to be seen from the back. Iridescent beads and mirrors were used to fill in any empty spots or tiny holes. A grey pigment was mixed into the epoxy and poured on top of the stones to kill the color from the front. Carefully clean spots on the pieces with the dremel to help accent colors in areas. Applied a final coat of resin on top to get the finished glass look.

Painted blue and green cellophane loosely attached to the organic wood shapes, making the surface appear textured. Small amounts of resin poured at a time to allow it to dry uneven on the surface. Helping create a wet uneven texture on top of the cellophane. All of the ruff edges were sanded down and one last coat poured on top to amplify the reflective glass top surface.

Pagan
An organic solid rectangle built from the outside in, by creating two seperate sections. Shattered glass, gold pigment, and resin mixed together to create a paste to form the walls along the outer edges. This allows the resin to dry in place creating a bowl shape for the center section. The center section was a repetitive process of layering square pieces of painted cellophane in colored resin, both mediums ranging in hues of green. All on top of plexiglass allowing the center to be illuminated in light.

The Distraction
A 9in Symphonic VHS television that the artist has had since she was three years old. The television was spray painted white to accommodate the rest of the room. The movie pictured is Atlantis: The Lost Empire, but viewers can also choose to play The Aristocats, The Rugrats Movie, 102 Dalmatians, Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer, and An All New Adventure of Disney’s Sport Goofy.

The artist delicately layered and twisted resin pigments red, yellow, white, orange and gold to create a geode stone pattern on these funky organic shaped plexiglass pieces. Stones and beads were crushed up and attached to the outer edges of each piece to imply these pieces have ruff cuts. Then a final coat of resin was applied to seal every piece together.

Acorn
The piece is shaped as a geometric pyramid. Cellophane is layered on perfect cut mirrors creating an altered filter on the reflection. The mirrors are placed in a pattern creating a symmetrical shape that is pleasing to the eye. Flat pearls are attached under the mirrors to make them appear as if they are floating. This is all attached to a geometrically cut piece of plywood.
