Why did you choose CAAD at MSU?
Growing up I have been surrounded by design and construction, so naturally I gravitated towards that field. My parents are both Mississippi State graduates, so I had been looking to attend Mississippi State for my whole life. Upon finding the Building Construction Science department, I knew that I had found where I needed to be. The hands-on aspect and the community of CAAD at MSU are second to none.
Favorite spot on campus?
My favorite spot would be the work yard at Howell Building. Although it might be an off-the-wall choice, I met some lifelong friends who will also be my professional colleagues and had some amazing professors who have poured into me both personally and professionally.
If you could go back and tell your high school self one thing, what would it be?
If I could go back and tell my high school self one thing, it would be to trust your instincts. You always know what you need and what's right for you. Nothing worth doing is ever easy, so keep pushing forward.

I enjoy 3D printing, going to sporting events with my friends, playing disc golf, playing with my Corgi, and all things Star Wars.
